CCC America Summer Institute 2010

The CCC America Summer Insitute 2010 takes place June 14 through June 23rd. We will be continuing our themes of consumerism, urban to suburban growth, and historical landscapes. Technology training will focus on blogposts for history discussions and narratives, and enhancing online history exhibits with Google maps.

Week One meets at the ESC Administration Building from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Field trips include Ohio City, Arcelor Mittal Steel Mill, and Eastside and Westside Cleveland and Suburbs.

Week Two meets at CSU Library RT302 and WRHS for Historical Thinking Workshops, Omeka Training, and Archival Research.

Teachers will complete projects during July for final presentations on July 29th and August 5th at the ESC.
