198 String Band Workshop

Teachers in the CCC America and Sounds of American History TAH grants will participate in a workshop with the historian/musicians of the 198 String Band. The band is from Buffalo, NY. Tom Naples (guitar, banjo, autoharp) has researched music of the Great Depression and has travelled the route of the Dust Bowl migrations. Peggy Milliron (guitar, vocals) is a music educator and photographer who has researched and edited the photos of the Great Depression used in the multimedia presentation.
